Advanced Precision first began providing customers with quality manufacturing services in 1989 as Crooks Mechanical Systems. In 2000, John Fitzpatrick, formerly VP Manufacturing at Trenton Works, purchased the company and changed the name to Advanced Precision Machining and Fabrication Ltd. At a time the company had a small workforce of 15 employees and serving the local industry. His vision was based upon the commitment to provide customers with high quality manufacturing and outstanding service.
This principle was a cornerstone of the new company and, over time, Advanced Precision grew the workforce to 90-strong, invested in the world’s latest in CNC machining technologies, expanded the facility, capabilities, and developed a loyal customer base across North America.
Although the Advanced Precision seen today seems a long way from our humble beginnings, the original goals of the company still remain as we continue to seek achievement of high levels of customer satisfaction. In 2009, Advanced Precision launched the Precise Design and Engineering Solutions division to continue down the road of value added solutions for our customers. This delivers a total design and manufacture package as well as collaborative design for manufacturability and project management solutions.
